I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals prior to beginning my private practice.
OHSU Avel Gordly Center for Healing
While at OHSU, I provided culturally responsive individual outpatient therapy sessions for adults. I utilized talk therapy and art therapy to support individuals working on issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual identity, gender, and relationship concerns.
Western Psychological Counseling Services, P.C.
While at WPCS, I provided Intensive Outpatient Chemical Dependency Groups for both male and female adults. I provided individual therapy sessions for those who participated in the CD program. I also conducted chemical dependency assessments for individuals participating in the program and for individuals needing to fulfill a legal/work requirement. Each individual I worked with was in treatment primarily for substance abuse, but would also utilize the therapy process to concentrate on changing relationships, managing anxiety and depression, and working to achieve a more balanced life.
CODA, Inc.
While at CODA, I provided individual and group therapy for adult men serving under the Oregon Psychiatric Security Review Board who were reintegrating back into the community. I worked with men with severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse serving under the PSRB due to criminal activity.
Columbia River Mental Health Services (Practicum Placement)
While at CRMH, I provided individual and group art therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disorders, severe and persistent mental health illness, and/or substance abuse disorders. I worked with both males and females in inpatient and outpatient programs.
Homestreet-Banyan Tree (Fieldwork Placement)
While at HB-T, I provided supportive art groups for male and female adults with severe and persistent mental illness in an outpatient setting.
